IGR is an independent think-tank organization and research team that works with civil society organizations, international partners and government to reform public policy in Sierra Leone. Our approach to research ensures reliable credible data that is backed by rigorous research methods informed by international best practices.
IGR’s independence enables us to take an unbiased, flexible and long-term view of issues shaping national development. Our approach is both catalytic and transformative that drives forward institutional reforms.
Beyond conducting research, IGR staff members conduct trainings, provide coaching and mentoring of partners and stakeholders involved in the public policy process. IGR’s team consists of a diverse set of backgrounds consisting of social scientists, lawyers, finance backgrounds and communication specialists. We maintain a readily available team of researchers and research assistants from all ethnic groups and regions of Sierra Leone.
